Really lovely hotel - excellent quality, with superb rooms with aircon and The White Company toiletries in the en-suite. Great breakfast, and lovely friendly staff. The only downside to this hotel is that they charge guests £6 to park, and also £15 per guest to use the swimming pool! Crazy when the rooms cost £160 per night. Come on KPH - don’t let yourself down on these points when otherwise the stay is top class. Where else really do you expect your guests to park? Otherwise, a great stay.

Highly recommend. Room was very comfortable and appreciated fresh milk & water being available self serve 24hrs. Great snacks at the bar or dining in the restaurant and staff super friendly and helpful. Didn’t use the spa/pool area but looked very well set up. You will need a car if wanting to go into town

1st class hotel set in beautiful gardens

Lovely hotel in gorgeous gardens. Visited the restaurant and we weren’t disappointed, the choice of menu was exceptional as was the quality of food at a reasonable price. Loved the little milk urns that you filled up freshly for your in room hot drinks. Having a fridge in the room is always a bonus to keep water cold. Loved the White Company toiletries, a real luxury. Will definitely be back

Very disappointed - hotel was dark inside and a bit tired. The bar had a big queue and only 1 member of staff. Ridiculous on a Sat night when they were fully booked. Didn’t bother to eat or drink there. Room far too hot, but couldn’t have the windows open as the road noise was too loud. Felt like a Premier Inn but not as good.

Fine, but disappointing spa and gym barrier

Really disappointingly, and with no reference here, you can only use the spa and gym facilities if you book directly with the hotel, otherwise it is a £10 fee. Really disappointed to learn that when turning up for a late night swim after working all day. Unprofessional to not make that clear here.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. It was my second time staying and my experience was a pleasant as the first. The room was clean and well furnished. I had an issue with hairs on the duvet and bed sheet that weren’t mine but after addressing this, it was rectified. The added fridge amenity definitely served it’s purpose. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. A personal preference for improvement would be adding a handheld shower head. There was ample wardrobe space and an ironing board and iron was provided too, which was great. One difference from my last visit 5 years ago was how they provide milk and water - through a refillable jar which is very eco-friendly. Breakfast is a bit on the pricey side for what is provided however it is delicious. I had the room service breakfast option and the dine in option - both were good experiences however, with the room service option we received cold toast which I couldn’t eat. There is ample free parking space at the hotel and although the car park was always packed during my stay, I never not had parking. A visitor - the hotel cat - decided to climb through our window which left us all screaming in shock. So I suggest not leaving your windows open if you don’t like cats. Overall, a lovely experience and would definitely recommend staying here.

Well set out hotel with pleasant staff and good facilities. Our family room was spacious and comfortable with a decent bed. Dinner was excellent and breakfast good. Minor niggles were that the cleaning of the breakfast tables could have been a bit better (crumbs left behind) and having to pay for weekday parking.
