"Absolutely beautiful location, amazing staff and a wonderful stay. Only wish we were staying longer. Couldn’t have been more helpful and the rooms were terrific."
"Really nice period Inn with great staff and good honest meals.
This IS a historic Inn so do not expect modern amenities.
The parking is great and we really enjoyed our stay.
Do yourself a favour and ignore the generic motels when next travelling in this area. "

Good food in the restaurant. Top service"
"Amazing place. The entire hotel is spotless and the staff went out of their way to greet us and help us. We genuinely felt welcome here. The buildings are beautiful."
"We stayed in the 'Nene@ room in what appears to be a newly built outbuilding in the grounds. the room had everything you would expect to a high standard"
"Immaculate and beautiful cottage (we stayed in Barley) with all home comforts. Access to a gorgeous swimming pool and gardens. The location in the hamlet of Water Newton is stunning and gorgeous walks through the countryside are abundant.
This isn’t a conventional self catering arrangement because the owners live on site and the cottages have a share with permanent residents. This means that you can’t invite friends or family over in daytime or evening without advance express permission. This makes it tricky when plans change or the weather doesn’t behave the way you had hoped. But fully understanding this and how seriously it is taken in advance is helpful. "
"Lovely country pub, with easily accessible rooms with motel-style parking. Only negative with our room (7) was the rain shower with a silly design, no chance of a shower without getting your hair wet - not always ideal for ladies! But nice with a walk-in shower! The cooked breakfast was great."
