Thanks to a guest of the hotel who helped us get through the front door so we could check-in. Also the confirmation of the booking indicated that there would be breakfast delivered to our room, but nothing came for both mornings that we stayed. "I used the self-service to check in and it was super easy. My room was very clean and spacious for a compact double bedroom. I enjoyed having my own space. There was fresh towels and shower gel and hand wash provided. I wish there was a kettle available within the room but for a budget hostel, I cannot complain about the standard. It is very good. Reception area is also very nice. I never got to use the rooftop lounge or the gym but can imagine they would be very good if it's on the basis of the room standards."

"Staff welcoming and agreeable, Coffee and tea service lovely, you can make soup, too, if you buy it elsewhere. Clean Hard acoustics in hallways, No posted signs asking guests to keep their voices down because of the echo. Rocker switch in room with red light, asked at front desk what it does, couldn't answer me. Free luggage storage and they let you hang out, both before and after your stay in the lobby as you are homeless for a few hours between hotels. Wi-Fi slow at times. Couldn't figure out how to turn off heater, so eventually just unplugged it. Front desk as baffled as me. Opening window lets in smoke smell, so shut the window, then opened door. If front desk could ask the smokers to move further down, that would be great. Nothing really wrong with the place."
