No laundry facility; should remove this item from the websites. Manager was not helpful & not friendly; hotel was far from the Norwegian cruise port & hotel taxi service outrageously pricy-not happy with it. There was luggage lift, but no staff know how to operate & non of staff offer to help with our luggages. Only good thing about this hotel was theirs breakfast- good & quality of foods.

The rooms are small and badly needing updated. The balcony and windows are cable tied shut - you can’t use them. They should remove the pictures from website. Room service horrible. They ignore requests to clean the room. Front desk - good luck - it will take an hour to check in. The clerk left at one point with us standing there. Pitiful.

Hyggeligt hotel

Dejligt værelse, flot udsigt fra tagetagen, super morgenmad, dog stod det ikke på nettet, at vi først kunne få morgenmad klokken 7 ,men derimod kl. 6.30 som ville have været ideelt for vores tidlige togafgange.

The property was well maintained and our room was large. We were traveling with our college age daughter and she was able to have an extra bed and there was still room for sitting area. The bathroom was large. The staff was friendly. We used the convenient luggage storage until our room was ready. The breakfast had many options including eggs, sausage, fresh fruit and much more. We would definitely stay again at the Thon Panorama Hotel.

Good hotel in excellent location

Nice hotel despite somewhat small rooms. Once again not friendly to handicapped as most Scandinavian hotels. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Great breakfast

Modern hotel in great location,

Overwhelmingly recommend this hotel for sightseeing etc in Oslo. We found location superb & enjoyed the modern decor etc. Staff were super & very helpful on a number of diff ocassions. We checked in past midnight & were told we were upgraded from a standard room as they had none available. Our upgraded room on the 9th floor had an awesome view & was a small suite. Bedroom was tiny so small only one side of queen bed had a night table . Also the room clearly had not been checked..one bedside light did not work, the shower head did not stay put in one place & the soap/gel dispenser in the shower was completely absent, the shower gel bottle was laid on its side on the handle.. it clearly needed some maintenance!! It was the end of a long holiday for us & we did not bother asking for these things to be repaired as they did not impact us in a significant way. Having said that we would have preferred to have had a room that had been more carefully managed.

modern hotel great location

We spent two nights here and were upgraded to a nicer room than we booked originally. The location was great--near galleries and some very nice restaurants. Also 5-10 min walk to the train station and to the university area and Rathaus and wharf. There is a computer for checking email and everyone was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was adequate but sort of unorganized and it took a long time to get things replenished once they were out of something. There is free fruit, candies, coffee and espresso in the lobby for guests. I would highly recommend this hotel!
