"The lobby is lovely. Valet service were kind, quick and helpful. Check in was easy. Bed was comfortable. View of the park/zoo/Lake was great. We were able to catch a bus right outside the lobby to Wrigley Field. We stopped in the bar/food areas. LOVED the dog friendly coffee shop. Overall , great stay. "

"This place was great to stay for the weekend. Only bad thing is there is a lot of walk-thru foot traffic and individuals will attempt to walk in to hotel with you when trying to come in at night even though they are non-guests. This was reported to staff and they acted promptly to show up to the property which was appreciated. "

"Me and my friend stayed here while we were in town for a concert. The check in was quick and easy. The property is located in a great area with plenty of restaurants, shops, and a grocery store nearby. The room was pretty clean with only a small stain on one of the bedsheets. Overall it was a great stay!"

"Quick 15 minute walk from the Metro. At the airport, I purchased a 72 hour unlimited rides on the train/bus for 72 hours. Very safe, walkable neighborhood. My room was quiet, and reminded me of when I lived in the dorms in college, on a weekend when everyone went home. The window AC and ceiling fan were great. The room was 2 doors down from the women's rest room, where there were four toilet stalls, and 4 individual shower stalls with a sliding lock. It is not luxurious, nor was I expecting it to be. The shared TV lounge, kitchen area were great. The kitchen has cubbies for guests to store their food and use the kitchen. Breakfast included: waffles, toast, 4 kinds of cereal, oatmeal, yogurt. I got my money's worth, and it allowed me to stay an extra day to enjoy Chicago. It was a 15 minute walk to the zoo (free admission). While downtown, I enjoyed the Chicago Art Institute, and Millennium Park is just down the block. The "Bean" was worth it. Also went to Oak Street Beach, clean, and beautiful. Only two cons: the water pressure in the shower was very poor. The main entry is not ADA friendly, I didn't ask them if they had an elevator or ramp through another entrance. I just walked up the uneven steps slowly. Overall, it was excellent and I am coming back with my daughters for a girls' trip. "

"My best friend and I had a little weekend getaway this past weekend for a concert and Rays was the perfect place to book! Rays was so well kept and the ladies that run it did an excellent job with welcoming us and making us feel at home. The room we stayed in was spacious for 2 people with an amazing access to the private patio area and it was beautiful and quiet. I would highly recommend Rays to anyone in or out of Chicago!"
