"Headline, would I stay here again? 100% absolutely. It will not be everyone's cup of tea as the amenities are pretty sparse. It's sort of scrapper in the best ways. Room was clean but basic. If you are the type who likes to chill in your room a lot, this is not your jam. But we are on the go and the room was great for two dudes exploring Chicago and going to a concert. We were there for 3 nights and the hotel associates we encountered were really cool and friendly. The location is great for doing anything in the general down town area. It was $100 a night less than the big chains right in the heart of downtown. However, I really dug this neighborhood (river north). Lots to walk to for food and drink. Parking is affordable if you use the spothero app and park right next door. Paid $46 total for 3 nights. You'd pay that for 1 night at most places in the city. Back to the property. The basement is where it's at. There are ping pong tables and foosball and a great common area. The common kitchen features free coffee and a legit full kitchen, including commercial size fridges and freezer. Also, I want to mention the proximity to the L. It was right outside our 2nd floor window but we could barely hear it at all and it certainly wasn't a disruption. Don't be worried about that, just sayin'. Nearby, check out Club Lago, Headquarters beercade, Clark Street Ale house, The Green door, Griddle24 and many others."

"The hotel was more than adequate for our needs. The area had plenty of restaurants and shops. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn’t worth the price but after the first day we found better places to eat. Parking price was reasonable for the area but getting in and out of the garage was a little scary. We would have appreciated the pool being open given its summer or at least been notified it wouldn’t be."

"This place was great. Staff was very nice and friendly. We felt very comfortable and almost at home. We did have e an issue with the Roku not being set up but staff was great getting all the info we needed and getting it all set up. On our last night the host even moved her car for us to take her spot because the lot was full. Will definitely book again."
