"The hotel was very clean and a great location as I was in town to attend a Chicago Cubs game. Directly across the street from the stadium and great dinning establishments in walking distance."

"Bathroom looked dingy and found hair on towels. Sheets had strong bleach smell. Never received the bar tickets or dinner coupons. Keys didn’t work all the time. Had to msg to ask for the provided water bottles. One small ice machine on first floor. Doors creaked. Positive note.. close to Wrigley. Cute lobby decor."

"Cute updated urban hotel, great location for walking to many restaurants. Charming front courtyard & lobby area too. Breakfast is more or less grab-n-go, but there are eggs, waffles etc to bring to room or eat in lobby. Gluten free bread was appreciated. Staff could be friendlier in person but very responsive to texts. My main complaint was the noise level in both my rooms. 1st room had a nice street view. But it was adjacent to the housekeeping closet. This 4th floor room's vintage door wasn't soundproof & the hallway loud noise starts right at 7:00am when the cleaners start. Also the TV didn't work, there was no toilet paper holder and the shower handle was about to fall off. They fixed the last 2 very quickly. By the 3rd night I considered changing rooms. After talking to night staff about options, she said someone could help me move to a quieter area on the end of a hallway on the 2nd flr at the back of the bldg. The next morning I noticed the long hallway of rooms was being renovated, construction materials, music blaring & workers everywhere. I couldn't believe they moved me to a wing under renovation when I requested a quieter room. Although they started work later at 8:00, it was still a noisy room from the heating/ac unit. Like a jet plane powering up & down. And the housekeeping room was directly across from my room. Pros: I really enjoyed the large spotless hottub spa and sauna. The gym looked pretty comprehensive. No locker rooms but there is a bathroom."

"This is a great hotel !I would definitely stay here again . The area is SO nice . Just a 10 minute walk to the lake so peaceful. We walked to some nice breakfast places. The hotel has a list of restaurants that came in handy . You can park in front of the hotel for 15 minutes for dropping off or picking up your luggage and the parking garage is around the block .The rooms are very comfortable. There is coffee and tea , popcorn in the room by the lobby . It looked like the pictures on the website. I would recommend staying here . We allso took a bus to downtown.When you go out of the hotel take a left go to the end of the block and either direction you will find a bus stop ."

"Location was great for Wrigley Field. Appreciated the provided towels and paper goods, although there were hardly any tissues left in the box. The listing said shampoo/conditioner/body wash and hair dryer supplied, but there was no conditioner. Kitchen was nice and recently updated, but the toaster did not work. Kitchen table and chairs were full of crumbs, and there were centipedes in the shower the first day. The area rugs , especially in dining area and larger bedroom were pretty gross, and the bedroom one was sticking into the doorway and was a trip hazard. The window screens were ripped, so even though it got hot, we couldn’t open the windows. The place desperately needs to be painted-the walls are filthy with some holes and a partially painted wall in one bedroom. One broken bulb in bathroom fixture. Listing said washer and dryer but no clue where they were. We had to park about a 10 minute walk away. Good thing they provided ear plugs because Saturday night was like being in a frat house. We appreciated the Wi-Fi and a small desk area to work. Communication before check in was clear. The front doorway is not lit, so using the key at night is a little hard. The building across the street was being torn down, so that was also noisy. Overall, it worked out ok, but would not stay here again."

"everything went smoothly , only thing would be there is no check in desk or staff.. from what i noticed also no early check in what so ever which was a bummer since i had an early flight. everything else was perfect, i think this is great for a small stay , the train station is nearby and some great easy restaurants. shared restroom. room was small but mighty."

"Not for everyone. Vintage themed. Quaint. Great for solo stay. Enjoyed my 1 night. Nice patio, but it needs some spring cleaning. Terrible parking options(street) Would stay again(short)."
