Overall the stay was comfortable.
The Hotel is definitely showing signs of age and in need to tender loving care to bring it up to current day standards.
The free WI-FI was wonderful and definitely added to my comfort during the week long stay.
When booking I had hoped it was closer to North Sydney, however was only a nice 15 minute walk to Artarmon Station. The hotel was perfect as I only wanted something that was cost effective and for the price I paid the accommodation was quite nice. We walked back to the hotel late at night from Artarmon Station and never felt threaten, seams like a safe area.

For anyone not wanting to stay in a downtown hotel with the associated high rates, Cremorne Point Manor is an ideal alternative. An easy five minute walk to/from the ferry wharf, an 10 minute ferry ride and you find yourself in Sydney's Circular Quay and Rocks area.
Our stay was too short, but there's always next time.
Apartments at front of building suffer from traffic noise on Military Road.
Apartments at rear of building are quieter although ours (312) being on the end was smaller than what we had on front.
Double bed too close to wall making it difficult for one of us getting in and out.
The worst problem we had during the last week of our 18 night stay was cigarette smoke coming in. This is a NO SMOKING building including the balconies as is stated clearly in the conditions shown in the welcoming literature. Despite our raising the matter several times with reception and with the night service nothing appeared to have been done to stop the miscreant, a 'long-term'resident in room 313. There is a penalty of AUD250 for smoking there. We had seen him smoking on the next room's balcony.
This meant that we had to keep our windows shut and be sparing with our use of the air-conditioning. The welcoming literature did ask that we keep the room well ventilated and it was difficult for us to comply because of our neighbour's smoke.
The offer of a discount/refund from what we had paid in advance would have been appreciated but was not forthcoming, alas!
Great location good easy parking should put on the sight that they are doing work on the pier and it can get noisey but offers to give ear protection if noise gets to bad also had a room on the 9 level and customers had the washing machine and dryer on at 10 pm when I rang reception because of the noise from the laundry they said no dryers or washers should be used after 9 pm but she did not follow it up I had to go and switch off dryer and let the person know to stop the dryer and washer as the noise was so bad the reception did not care was dissapointed with there lack of response

Perfectly situated absolute waterfront-facing the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, right on the harbour's edge at North Sydney …More
North Sydney is a compact secondary central business district. High-rise offices, cafés, restaurants, pubs, and a few small shopping malls dominate. Busy from Monday–Friday, it quiets down on weekends, but within 1 km is the relaxed, al fresco café, pub, and restaurant scene of Blues Point Road. Trendy Kirribilli is not much further away at the northern base of the Harbour Bridge.
