Excellent value. It's a bit older and not as fancy as some hotels but it's inexpensive for the location, the staff is exceptionally friendly and the hotel is well managed overall. I highly recommend it for anyone spending a lot of time in Waikiki.

The location was great. It was out of the hustle and bustle but still close enough to be a fairly short drive to main attractions of the island. The room was a little dated and showed a lot of wear. The bed was super comfortable but the roosters crowing 2 hours before daylight was off-putting. Also, the neighbors smoking pot outside our window and filling our room with smoke was a bit much. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

If you want to capture these gorgeous aerial views, head over to Pu'u O Mahuka Heiau, located above Waimea Bay. From Kamehameha Highway, turn right just before the Foodland and fire station and go up the winding road for about two minutes before you reach the sign on your right hand side. It's easy to miss, so keep an eye out for it!
