"Four Days, Three Nights of Cockroaches The staff, location, and setting are excellent—but room 24 had a severe cockroach problem that overwhelmed everything else. On the first night, turning on the shower sent 30–40 cockroaches out from behind the curtain. From that point on, it was constant: cockroaches in the bathroom, cockroaches on the walls and ceiling, cockroaches in the kitchen, cockroaches on the counters, dishes, drawers, and even in my bag. Every night and morning, more cockroaches. I reported the issue immediately. Despite assurances, the response was minimal—two traps and delayed cleaning. The cockroaches continued nonstop, though numbers dropped slightly after I spent days killing cockroaches myself. Clear signs of infestation were everywhere: cockroach droppings, smeared cockroaches on walls, and cockroaches across multiple surfaces and rooms. On my last day, I still found cockroaches under the coffee maker and even on my pillow. For over $1,100, this was an unacceptable, cockroach-infested stay and the worst lodging experience I’ve had."

"The hotel was perfect for us. It is so conveniently located beside the Polynesian Cultural Center, which was absolutely phenomenal. The beach right by the hotel is wonderful. There are few people there and the water is perfect for swimming and boogie boarding. We were able to rent snorkel gear and take an Uber to Shark Cove and Turtle Bay to snorkel. The staff suggested Shark Cove and I am so glad we did both because both locations were wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, allowing us to store our luggage before checking in and after checking out. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing. The hotel and area has such a great vibe. We could see the beach from our room."

"The hotel was just fine for what we needed - somewhere close to the airport for our late night arrival. The room was clean and quiet. Only downside is that breakfast was packed at 7am - hard to find seating and a line for the food. It wasn’t a long wait just something to be aware of. Overall, it met our needs and we would stay again if we had a late night arrival. "

"Easy parking and location"

"The room was nice, and the staff were professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. There is a train station stop right outside of the hotel, and that is a big plus. The website states that there is a restaurant on the premises. I got there on a Monday. When I arrived from the airport, I was hungry. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed on Monday. They do have a small store, but the food options are very limited. There was no water in the room. When I called the front desk asking for some, I was told that bottles of water are available for purchase at the store."

"Feels like heaven here"

"The door handle to the only door leading to the beach was broken. We asked for it to be fixed it never was during our 6 day stay. Other maintenance issues like master bedroom door lock was broken. Lots of cobwebs on the windows that were on the top part of the A frame. Beach was great and so was the location. We enjoyed our stay other than what we stated above. "
