"The location was fantastic—very close to the beach, which we really enjoyed. The room itself was quite spacious, making it a great fit for our family. That said, there were a few downsides. The bathroom felt a bit grungy and could definitely use some attention. We also had difficulty getting ahold of staff during our stay. There was a sign at the front desk directing us to use an automated check-in system, but unfortunately, the kiosk wasn’t working when I tried it. The “complimentary breakfast” was also underwhelming—it consisted of grab-and-go items like Twinkies, Ding Dongs, granola bars, and apples. It wasn’t very satisfying, so we ended up going out for a proper breakfast instead. Overall, we still had a good experience. With the right expectations, we would consider staying here again in the future."

"Clean & modern room. Comfortable. I did not have a kitchen, because I didn’t need one. Plenty of coffee & cream provided in room. Spacious & spotless. Misty, in office was very nice & accommodating . Highly recommend "

"We arrived after check in time and it still took an additional 2 hours to get our room. When we started to unpack our bags we found a half eaten pizza in one of the drawers. The front desk staff didn’t seem too concerned about it and said they would let housekeeping know. When we asked for additional toiletries, the housekeeping staff was very rude. Very disappointing experience. "

"Location is great, being right next to the ocean with balcony views and a walking path directly behind property with easy access to walk right down to beach. Comfortable stay with the basics."

"Seabird is at the southend of Ft. Bragg on Hwy 1 (PCH). The property is older maybe built in the 70's or 80's. It is well maintained. Checkin was very good and the reception staff kind of worked off a script. Every checkin is the same. We booked a room with a king size bed and a balcony with a view of the ocean, although maybe a quarter mile away. There is an indoor pool and a restaurant across the parking lot that is part of the property. There is also a few gas stations and small stores very close. This stretch of PCH has a few beaches (glass beach) and state parks. The Seabird is know for their breakfast and it didn't disappoint. They have a nice size dedicated room just for this. They offered anything you can have for breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, etc) and they were cooked on the spot and fresh. It was excellent. Overall I would recommend staying here and I would do it again. "
