The description for the ski in should also clarify that the trail back in is not walkable up hill. Probably close to 3/4 of a mile of deep heavy snow. "There are several positive reasons to choose this property when looking for a place to stay. One of these include the location. You are far enough out of town to be away from bunches of people yet close enough to easily access places you’ll want to such as groceries, gas, restaurants and shopping. There is a walking path nearby but sadly you have to walk along the roadway for a bit to access it. Being pet friendly is great. Almost everything we did in the area welcomes well behaved dogs. "Our family had a wonderful stay. The chalet is charming with comfy beds, nice bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and two living areas. The location is spectacular. The house is in the woods with lovely views of the mountains and the wrap-around deck was perfect for sitting and relaxing. The cute town of Palmer Lake was 5 minutes one direction and I25 was 5 minutes the other direction. We would absolutely stay here again!"
