Can’t thank Expedia enough for finding us this hotel after our initial one got canceled. Very large room with a whirlpool, just what we needed after our long drive. Location was good, could easily drive to the Stanley Inn and to hiking trails. Very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was mediocre. Would stay here again.

Great value, great location. 5 minutes drive to downtown, 15 minutes drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. Friendly staff. Free breakfast is a SKIP for me (I would rather eat at the McDonald nearby), but it's great that they at least offer. The facility is a bit old, but it's clean and quiet.

The internet was terrible in both our rooms. The check in lady staff member could have been more friendly and helpful. The hallway walls weren’t all marked. Having s’mores was much appreciated! Great place to stay for RMNP visit. Quick drive to Estes Visitor’s Center for shuttle to park and access to River Walk and downtown restaurants. Great room with comfortable beds, clean, refreshed towels during stay, nice breakfast area, lots of kids in the pool.

Lovely place with great amenities. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was just as described, clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our trip. Only thing not so great was breakfast as it was mostly cereal, coffee, juice, pastries and toast so don't count on anything too fancy. Would definitely stay again, tho!

Great spot!

Great stay for a night, wish we could have stayed longer. Pool area was great and the hot tub was amazing. It was easy to get in to and out of off the highway with popcorn and smores in the evening.

Initially received the wrong room type and without even asking the front desk staff came over and apologized and gave us an upgrade from what we had booked. Cool place. Lots of yard games, common area with a keurig, DVD’s, board games, and filtered water fountain to use. Very clean.

We had the perfect view of the Rockies from our porch, we saw elk every day walking the grounds. We enjoyed family game nights from all the board games they offer. It truly was one of our best family trips and Appenzell was perfect for it! Will definitely book here again when we come back to Estes Park!! And my kids loved the nightly s’mores
