"Tried the Crown as an alternative to Travelodge, just for a change. This old village Inn exceeded expectations. Friendly staff at the bar were welcoming and showed me to a classically furnished ensuite room overlooking the quiet beer garden. Bar was busy and friendly and pub grub good value. This room was great value and included one of the best full English breakfast served by again warm and friendly staff. The village is beautiful and in lovely setting. I came on a business trip but this place would make an idesl short break. "

"The accommodation was super clean and spacious with everything needed for our stay. Only downside was that bedrooms were upstairs which was difficult as one of us had recent back surgery - didn't know beforehand that all 2 bedroom apartments were over two floors. Apart from that we had a lovely stay."
