"We booked this property as the picture on website looked nice. It said we would share bathroom only with people in our party, this was booked as non-refundable. We only book properties with en-suite usually but as said it would only be shared with our party. Once booking came through I checked the postcode and found that the property was down a private road which you could not view on google maps. "The only disappointing part of my stay was the parking charge. Why? Hotel is out of the way, no would park there unless visiting the hotel or spa"

"We upgraded for a spa suite and were not disappointed! It included a lovely sitting area, big bathroom with shower & bath and a very comfortable bed. As well as straight access into the spa area. The lady on reception was very helpful when we checked in. The room was modern, clean and really spacious. There is also a mini fridge and bits for tea, coffee & hot chocolate and bonus cookies which were a lovely extra. The spa was very busy when we stayed but we still managed to try all the areas we wanted to and found places to relax. Must add that the breakfast and Piefeast were really good, very tasty food and a great range to try."

"Hotel very tired looking no kerb appeal. We were greeted on arrival by someone that looked like to cleaner (no front office uniform). We were told they were working on skeleton staff!! I have worked for well known 4* hotel group for the last 20 years prior to retirement so my expectations are quote high! Bedroom very basic, bed comfortable, room facilities ok. Only space for hanging a few clothes, no drawers. Bar was ok. We only had breakfast there which again was adequate but not the standard I would have expected from a 3* hotel. Photos are very misleading. Didn't spoil our weekend but would seriously think before I stay again."
