"This hotel is really different. Set like a modern art museum the rooms are well appointed and feels like a touch of luxury. Great location by Te Papa. A few annoying things, taxis drop you at the back door due to one way streets and that door is locked. Nothing like standing in windy wellington waiting for someone to answer the buzzer, then the phone when I gave up on the buzzer. That was a pain. Ask your taxi to loop around to main entrance. The a-la-carte breakfast was great but some days...

"We loved everything about this property! The location was fantastic, the staff was so friendly and welcoming, the free treats at the hotel lobby and in the room were fantastic and so welcomed. The room was the most comfortable of any we have stayed in and it felt like real luxury. I absolutely loved the art deco design of the hotel. We will definitely look for Naumi hotels moving forward when back in New Zealand!"
