"We arrived at the cottage in the middle of the night after a 5 hour drive with a new baby to find that the beds were stripped and not made up, the toilet was dirty and not flushed. The only bedding in the cottage was dirty, screwed up on the bathroom floor with visible brown marks on. We had no option but to sleep in someone else’s dirty bedding. The next day I had REPEATEDLY chase up to get the bedding changed, at one point being told I was wrong and the beds were made. Eventually, after...

"Arrived at the Mews and had difficulty finding keys as instructions were not very clear. I had paid extra for a parking permit and no permit was provided in the unit, had to pay again to park car on street as we were warned that they monitor these streets day and night. We booked this unit as we needed to do some laundry, it lists a washer and dryer in the amenities to find out we only had a washing machine and no dryer. Tried calling the housekeeping number and did not get an answer till 9am...

Top Torquay Hotel Reviews

The Grand Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This is my second stay this year and the staff at the The Grand Hotel are superb 👌 I really can’t fault them, the room cleaning staff went above and beyond a big pat on the back for them 👍"

Hotel Indigo Torquay by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely fantastic, I spend a lot of nights in a hotel in one corner of the country or another and I thought this hotel was superb, from the complimentary sparkling and still water to the complimentary coke and diet coke, the proper pod coffee machine, free biscuits, hot chocolaye sachets, the location, the staff, the parking, it was all superb, I will defo come back again for a visit."

Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa - Just for Adults

10/10 Excellent

"The rooms were comfy but fairly small - bathroom was fairly basic no space to put a bath bag. We were charged £15/day for parking which I think is a bit steep when you have already paid for a room, its not v welcoming when you arrive. The spa facilities were excellent, probably the best in the area. Room service food (after 9pm) was pretty poor. lukewarm soup, stale sandwich. breakfast was fairly good though."
