A wonderfully friendly and welcoming B&B. I have stayed here for several weeks on business in the area. Debbie has repeatedly gone out of her way to make my stay as easy as possible. It’s worth a stay just to try the fudge and fruitcake. I can’t think of a reason not to stay here if you are in the region.

Made to feel very welcome. Lovely fresh, clean room with a comfortable bed and good quality linen, which always aids a good night's sleep. Also huge bath towels which I love. Good selection of teas and coffee with fresh milk provided, which was nice. There were also some sweet treats and a tourist map provided in the room, which was very useful. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and even though we only stayed 1 night we were given some home made fruit cake on departure. This was our first guest house stay for quite some time and I was very impressed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Beautiful Place

What a lovely B&B the hosts Debbie &Richard are lovely. The place is immaculate and lots of nice little touches in the room homemade fudge and rocky rd etc The breakfast was amazing first class definitely go back and stay.

Amazing stay - fantastic place!!

A very welcoming place and Debbie went out of her way to help me check-in early. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and it was in a really convenient location. The bed was very comfortable and the homemade cakes just topped everything off!! Would highly recommend and when we next travel to Torquay to visit family, we will definitely be staying again. Thanks Debbie!!

Exceptional guest house.

This guest house is exceptional, from the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. It is beautifully decorated and furnished, with a fantastic en suite shower room. The room was comfortable and had everything we could need and more. We were welcomed with a hot drink and in the room was a treat of home made fudge, rocky road and a dish of sweets! This was on top of biscuits and a range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate. The hot water machine made it much easier to make a drink and the water was boiled in 55 seconds! The toiletries provided were top quality, as was everything else in this place. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. There was plenty of choice for everyone. I enjoyed a bowl of fresh fruit before my breakfast, which contained nine different fruits! The breakfast was top quality. We couldn’t fault anything about our stay. We were even given a taste of a new fudge flavour to try and went home with a package of freshly baked fruit cake. Thank you Debbie and Rich, you’ve got everything right.

Absolutely perfect, a home away from home. Guest areas all furnished to a very high standard, room was immaculate, bed extremely comfortable and nice hot shower. The free (for guest use) EV charging point was an added bonus. Nothing was to much trouble - if I’m ever back in the area I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A Truly Brilliant B and B..just wonderful!!!

Well my daughter and I stayed one night here and we were truly delighted with every aspect of the service, room, friendliness and breakfast. Debbie is a kind and welcoming host and certainly if we’re ever in Torquay again, we would not hesitate to stay there! All the little touches to make your stay truly special! Even rocky road chunks in the room to welcome us..delicious!!!!

Wir waren als älteres Ehepaar eine Woche in dieser Unterkunft und hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Bad und Blick in den sehr gepflegten Garten. Wir wurden von der Gastgeberin und ihrem Mann hervorragend betreut. Das Frühstück war exelent. Parken vor dem Haus. Sitzmöglichkeiten im Garten. Wir haben vor Ort alles zu Fuß gemacht. Bis in die City und zur Strandpromenade zwischen 20 - 30 Minuten. Wir können die Unterkunft bestens empfehlen.

A great place to stay at Bentley Lodge.

Our stay at Bentley Lodge guest house was out of this world. The accommodation was clean and tidy, comfortable and just exactly to our liking. Debbie and Rich were pleasant and very easy to talk to and nothing was too much for them to do for us. A very happy few days spent with their hospitality and highly recommend.

Fantastic stay

The owners are fantastic and couldn’t be more accommodating. The room was immaculate with towels folded ready on the bed. They provided a selection of tea bags, milk in a small fridge, homemade fudge and rocky road, as well as a couple of chocolates in the room. The breakfast was superb, lots of choice and freshly made for the pre-booked time you specify you want it. Couldn’t recommend Bentley Lodge enough and would definitely stay again.

Just a very friendly place, clean comfortable and very welcoming. Nothing too much trouble, helpful hints of where to eat in the evening. Breakfast great options. We are looking forward to booking Bentley Lodge next time we are in Torquay, and happily recommend it
