"Arrived at the Mews and had difficulty finding keys as instructions were not very clear. I had paid extra for a parking permit and no permit was provided in the unit, had to pay again to park car on street as we were warned that they monitor these streets day and night. We booked this unit as we needed to do some laundry, it lists a washer and dryer in the amenities to find out we only had a washing machine and no dryer. Tried calling the housekeeping number and did not get an answer till 9am...

"My second visit to Astor Hse. I travel out of season (Oct/Nov) due to my work, and find Astor Hse a true pleasure. Apt 8 and 9 have huge bay windows leading onto good sized furnished terraces, which look south over 'Torbay' giving stunning views. The apts are warm and spacious and provide everything you need during your visit. "Great location close to station, coastal bus routes and with excellent sea views from the terrace and restaurant. Food really good - plenty of breakfast options and the restaurant meals were superb. Ask for tap water though - cost us £4.95 for bottle of still water! Pool lovely and warm. Room clean, comfortable and a good size. Really enjoyed our second stay here and would stay again."
