"This house proved to be an idea l place to spend a few days with grandparents, children and grandchildren. The facilities were fantastic and allowed us to enjoy our holiday despite very poor weather. The warm enclosed swimming pool enabled the grand children to improved their swimming skills and the movie screen and projector allowed the adults to catch up on some movies. I hope we get chance to return before long."

"We enjoyed staying at 5 Shadycombe cottage. Owner sent lots of useful information by email shortly before stay. The cottage was compact, clean and well equipped. The bathrooms were a little compact. The cottage location and proximity to Salcombe allowed us to walk into town. "A lovely property in a lovely location. In the countryside but a short drive to all of the local attractions. Stayed for a long weekend and would definitely return. The garden gets good sunshine and is mostly fake grass so doesn't get muddy if it rains. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The walk in shower cubicle is in a small ensuite but there's an over bath shower in the bigger main bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and there were tea bags and coffee pods already there for us."

"Delightful chalet in a lovely position overlooking Plymouth Sound. Peaceful, relaxed atmosphere, with the opportunity for coastal walks as well as to the beach and surrounding areas. Lovely cafe on the estate and close enough to local shops for provisions. Two lovely pubs in the local village, 5 minute drive away or within walking distance. A very comfortable and well equipped chalet. We would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing break. We would definitely visit again."

"Sonachon house is now under new owners Leanne and Aaron. They were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with full English, cereals, toast, and yoghurt on offer. "The property was in a lovely quiet position but did feel the shop should have been open whilst people were on site because of its location. When we arrived the sofa still had some sand on, there are cobwebs in bedroom windows and some kitchen utensils were not too clean. We really enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed whilst there. It IS very remote so if you are going as a destination to really use the amenities-golf course, pool, spa, etc., it was great. We had hoped to use it as a base to travel out from but the roads were so narrow and rather treacherous getting in, we didn’t feel like driving back and forth to other locations in Devon and Cornwall, which was too bad. "I loved my stay here. My host and landlord, Gary, was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable with a fantastic power shower and comfy bed for the night. The dining was wonderful and of an extremely high standard both with the quality of the food and the speed of service which was fantastically prompt. The ambience created within the village pub meant you felt relaxed both with the locals and other guests staying there to the extent that I stayed on after my meal to participate in the quiz they hosted and took a very creditable third despite it being just myself taking part. I would very much be looking out to stay here again when I am next in the area."
