"Great location - close to Waverly and a short walk to the main sights while being far enough away to be quiet. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the surrounding blocks as well as a Boots for any quick pick up needs. The hotel was beautiful, well equipped, and the staff were very helpful. We will definitely stay again if we are in Edinburgh."
"Bed was comfortable. Everything very clean. Took a few tries to get into the unit (didn’t know we had to lean extra heavily into door to open). Location was great. Within walking of everything we wanted to see. If we return to Edinburgh in the future we will check here first for our place to stay. "
"Very pleasant with a great breakfast. Rooms have high ceilings and overlook trees on a quiet majestic street. Very friendly staff and a large art collection to admire."

"An amazingly appointed and decorated period town house.
The attention to detail was fabulous.
Love my first stay so much, I have now stayed two more times and it won't be the final time!"
"The hotel is in a great central location for walking. I woman at the front desk was just absolutely amazing. Friendly and helpful and a great sense of humor. Her name was Bee for short. The room was nice. The interesting part was the hotel is older and is not equipped with AC. They put portable AC units in the room and vent them thru the window. They also put an oscillating fan in the room as well. I was curious as to how this was going to play out. It went great. The room stayed cold. I mean cold not cool. We stayed in the summer months. The room was spacious, and bed was comfortable. So even with the window open slightly to allow venting from the AC we didn't get any street sounds up into the room. The area is quiet at night. No issues at all and they had black out curtains as well. "
"Good transport; Bus 11 is right in front of the buildings and it is around 8 min walk to Tram Station
24 hr Grocery store
Couple of good restaurants around
The apartment is clean and big.
Highly recommended. "
