Bed and Breakfast in New Era

"This was our fifth stay at this house, and we had another wonderful week. Every day in the all-seasons room is a new experience, watching the lake and sky change color and texture, and, if you're lucky, leading to a magnificent sunset. Plenty of beach to walk, often all to yourself. We saw deer walk the beach after sunset, and a bald eagle land in the sand with a catch. We made fires with wood we found on the beach. My wife watched the full moon set over the lake early one morning. Nearly every room offers a view of the lake, and the lake breezes and soft sound of waves crashing is the perfect way to fall asleep. Highly highly highly recommended!"

"This house is beautiful. We’ve stayed here multiple times and plan on coming back. Just walk across some sand and your at the water. You also can look out and watch the sunsets over the lighthouse. The house is so clean and well appointed. The owners are responsive and can tell they take great care of the house."

"You never know with a Days Inn what you are going to get, but this is a really decent facility. Besides the fact that there was no soap in the room, everything looked clean and tidy."

"We had a fantastic stay at our cottage. Beach and bath towels were provided, space was clean and cozy, grill and fire pit out back with chairs. Even the internet access was great. And being steps away from your own quiet beach access point was amazing. Incredible views and very convenient. Would highly recommend."

"Sitting in the cabin or on the deck you experience the stunning view of Lake Michigan with all of it's continually changing glory! Peaceful, serene, quiet, and remote on this lovely association property with lots and lots of nature surrounding you - yet you are 15-20 minutes from the store. And oh my, the sunsets... If you like to cook, it's all here. If you like walking the beach, it's lovely! If you like to relax, you've come to the right place! If you like solitude (my trip was on the shoulder season) this cabin won't dissapoint! If you are looking for fancy and brand new, you won't find it. This is a lovely comfy place. If stairs are an issue, there are stairs to get to the cabin and to the beach. If dirt roads are an issue, you are going to drive on one. Like a previous review, wise to arrive before sundown as a first timer! The owner, Mike is responsive, communicative and friendly."
