Perfect
This was the perfect place to stay in Napier with our 2 little dogs. Beautifully appointed with everything anyone could want or need. So welcoming with those extra special touches Delia provides. Our dogs loved the cosy pet beds and there were even lovely water and food bowls for them to use. It was great to know our dogs were safe when we let them outside. This was our 2nd visit, we’ll be back for sure. Thank you for having us :-)

Wonderful Property
Couldn't ask for a better property and owners. Property was immaculate and had everything you would require except for a clothes dryer. The owner also provided a lot of extras which was very thoughtful and generous.

Best rental ever!
We stayed at Didi’s place for a month and wished we never had to leave. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home, but better. We felt cocooned in comfort and thoughtful details to make our stay the best it could be. The decor is beautiful, furniture and beds comfy, backyard a cozy oasis of greenery, and kitchen and bathroom thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need. And it smells good! We would love to return!

Five stars doesn't do it justice
We were here as a family - one teenager and two dogs. Travelling with dogs can be restrictive, but Didi"s Place went above and beyond. Not only was the place scrupulously clean and tidy but there were so many thoughtful touches. From the coffee tuned to our tastes, to the emergency supplies drawer. When it came to the dogs there were two beds (sized to our pets), bowls, and pickup bags all provided. The (human) bed was super comfortable and everything was exactly as claimed. To top it off, the original features are intact and the furnishings all reflect or complement the deco period nicely. If we're back to Napier, we will 100% try to book Didi's place!

Awesome Property - Get that little Extra
This was an awesome property with a nice outdoor area and important for summer air-conditioning, There was a dog bed and bowls for the dog and also a few extra treats left for the adults. There was nothing bad I could say about this property will definitely be back

Napier Gem
A great little unit that is comfortable and practical. We enjoyed our two night stay and made the most of its proximty to the heart of Napier Marine Parade and CBD. Off-street parking for two cars was a bonus and the street it is located on is not as busy as I had anticipated. For anyone who likes to cook, the kitched has pretty much all the equipment you require. While our stay was relatively short, I can easily imagine longer stays. Thank you Didi for making this property available. I will be looking to include it as part of future excursions to the Bay.

Such a great place, a home away from home. The host has thought of everything and is so accommodating, all the little things they've thought of to make us feel at home. Perfect location, it's on a busy (ish) road but with a bus stop right outside, and an easy walk down to the city centre. And a new fish n chip shop a few houses down (yum!!), with a superette too. This wee place made for a perfect getaway for two friends taking a break for a few days, thanks again.

We loved it the minute we walked in. All bed linen and towels were of excellent quality. Our little dog was well catered for and there were lovely touches like peanut slabs, good quality coffee and pet bowls for our little dog.

Napier Break
It had a lovely cottage feel about it. The little extras made us feel welcome. This included pet beds, pet food bowls, Tim tams, fruit, muesli , yoghurts and some chocolate snacks. My grandson loved the bag of lollies that was sitting on his bed. A thoughtful thing to do. It was within walking distance for everything we wanted to do. Great walks for us and the dogs.

Most charming B and B
It was as though a very caring friend had supplied everything we needed - even to cooking salt plus a salt grinder - great beds, lovely linen, fresh and clever decor, a private little back oasis and drive up to the front door parking. I have emailed all my friends likely to go to Napier to make sure they book well ahead to enjoy Didi's Place ... and the walk to everywhere location is a plus.

Excellent unit with many extras provided - even a dog bed and bowls. Fenced back yard and nice area to sit out. Location is great - easily walkable to cbd and a dairy just up the road. Host lovely and communicates well if you have any questions.

Perfection
This property is exactly as described and is actually even nicer then in the photographs. It was perfect for our weekend in Napier and had everything we needed plus some lovely extras (thank you). An easy walk down the hill to town so leave the car at the cottage. The driveway looks snug but is easy enough. We’ll happily stay again next time in Napier. Lovely owners and great communication. Highly recommended :)

What a lovely place to stay, could not fault one thing. Absolutely spotless and everything you could possibly need during your stay. Bedrooms - Beds were so comfy and lovely crisps clean bed linen. Bathroom - lovely shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and hand cream if you needed it along with hairdryer, lovely thick towels, presented ever so nicely. Kitchen- fully equipped along with granola and a tub of yogurt, tea, instant coffee, plunger coffee, milk. And the very special touches that made you feel welcome and special - coffee tray laid out on kitchen table with Tim tams, a couple of chocolates, fresh flowers and all the little lamps were on in each room which made it so nice when you walked in. Would 100% recommend and would so very much stay again. Thank you Didi for making our weekend special 🤗

what would be a great improvement a little cat door for the dogs to go out there business in the night if hav to a cloth dryer would be good and a front door security screen door so house will vent out plus dog can sit there and watch the worth go by

Perfect place to stay.
My husband and I felt spoilt the minute we walked in the door. There were fresh flowers out, a tray with coffee and bickies ready for us and a doggy station complete with bed for our pooch. The Bach is well cared for with attention to comfort for guests impeccable. This property is a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend staying here. Next time we are in Napier I hope it will be available as we would certainly want to stay there again.
