"Older facility but maintained well. Not too far from airport and close to Laguna beach. Free parking, park outside your room location. I had a rental car but Ubered to Laguna beach. About a $20-$30 Uber (July 2026) to the heart of Laguna beach, if one doesn't want the hassle of finding parking. The Motel is in a nice neighborhood, I consider it a Motel rather than the 'Lodge', however there is a nice garden setting around the buildings. A place to stay and get good rest, not necessarily a chill-out Lodge type of setting. Breakfast was average hotel fare, no waffle or pancake self service machines. Breakfest amenities were nothing to write home about but nice to have on premises and a great cost benefit for a light eat-&-go breakfast. Rooms were clean and housekeeping services available if requested via door hanger style. Housekeeping did well, forgot to replenish fresh towels one time. Air conditioning was old style but functional, and loud, typical old-school, and kept the room cool enough on a rare the rare hot spell in CA at the time of my visit. I will stay there again."
