Hello and thank you for your lovely review. Whilst it is very unfortunate that the park is located where it is some positive action is being taken by the New Zealand Traffic Authority. There is a review of speed limits happening around Lake Taupo. They are proposing a reduction in speed limit from 100 to 60 and we support this as we believe this not only be safer but will reduce the noise impact on the park. We hope that the reduction to the speed is actioned soon and that you will come to see us again when it's implemented. Safe future travels.

Thanks for your feedback. There should definitely have been some extra blankets for the bunk beds in your room so I am looking into why they weren't available for you. Apologies for the inconvenience and this will definitely be rectified for your next stay.
