"Pretty overpriced with hidden fees for things I didn’t really want. They have made this pretty nice hotel into a “ resort “ in Monterey. Was hit with very expensive parking fee and a “ destination fee” that resulted in paying 75$ more than I expected. I didn’t want a 12$ glass of wine or a s’mores kit! It’s a very nice location right on the beach which I was looking forward too. But we didn’t get a room with a view. And when I inquired I was informed that would 70$ extra. This was all handled...

"Spacious and clean rooms. Our family loved the complimentary breakfast and

great with kids. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout. The only downside was the lack of a bellhop for luggage which made check-in and checkout a bit inconvenient. Overall, a great stay in a convenient location."
