My Sister and I have been coming to Carmel for years and we have stayed at many places. This is one of our favorites! We stayed in the two bedroom, one bath as we like to have our own rooms and it is very hard to find in Carmel. It can use a bit of updating to the furnishings and artwork, but that is just splitting hairs. Ok, the rug should go, but other than that, the kitchen was great to have including a oven and full refer. The wifi works great, and we LOVED having a parking spot right outside our door. (valuable!) The beds are comfy, and the linens a good quality. The staff are awesome. We hope to stay here again next year.

We were so pleased with the Briarwood Inn and will definitely stay there again. Excellent location, nice clean rooms, good beds, amenities, helpful staff. We did not have any noise issues -maybe we just got lucky with our neighbors. It is a great value for the money. Personally, I prefer a inn/motel with a little dated Carmel charm opposed to some super upscale inn/hotel with all new decor.
