Loved the indoor and outdoor kitchens as one of our family members is a fine dining chef and we all enjoy cooking. "We had a nice stay. There are several comfortable outdoor spaces for sitting and enjoying the woodsy setting. The view would be lovely, but was difficult to enjoy from inside as the big picture window was cloudy (not dirty, but due to a defective seal, usually covered under warranty and easily fixable). The interior was clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated. Hosts were very helpful and communicative."

"The house has a stupendous view of the ocean, is comfortable and well equipped. We celebrated my 70th birthday there and can’t imagine a place that could be better. You don’t have to drive anywhere to experience the fantastic coastline, but you can walk quite a ways if you like."

"My friends and extended family have an annual reunion in Carmel, a tradition for 20 years. We have had opportunity to stay in multiple houses over the years. This home, however, was the best by far. It suited all of our particular needs beautifully. The house is exactly as described. The landscaping is beautiful with multiple outdoor seating areas. The house is also very private, with an automatic gate for the driveway and plenty area to park your cars. It has very easy access to highway 1, but...

"This was a perfect home/location for our long weekend while my daughter and I ran the Big Sur Marathon!! The hot tub was a great bonus after all the hills!! The home is so quaint and cozy and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend this home and will consider it for next year if we run the marathon again! Location was perfect, we were able to walk to downtown Pacific Grove and the walkway along the ocean. Parking was no problem all weekend."
