"I stayed at Sheraton Universal Hotel for two nights in a two-bedroom suite with a sofa bed sleeper, as we are a family of five. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It’s extremely convenient for visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. The room itself was spacious enough for our family and generally clean, which we appreciated. However, several issues made this stay very disappointing for the price point. One major issue is that the Jacuzzi was out of service, and this was not communicated at the time of booking. That was a letdown, especially since amenities like that often influence hotel choice. On top of that, we had ongoing problems with guest services. The first night, we called twice requesting bedding for the sleeper sofa, which was not provided in the room. Both calls went unanswered and the bedding never arrived. The second night was worse. We called three separate times and still never received a fitted sheet for the sofa bed. We had to make do without proper bedding for the entire stay, which was uncomfortable and unacceptable for a suite meant to accommodate five people. Overall, while the location and room size are good, the lack of communication, unresponsive guest services, and missing or unavailable amenities made this a frustrating experience. I would likely choose a different hotel in the area next time."

"Friendly valet staff, evening shift was moody and unprofessional. I was there for a business conference. Not an ideal location for outside dining. Must drive to a better neighborhood unless you like street Mexican foods. Will not stay there again unless it’s for business. Will not recommend."

"Rooms and hotel was clean but the pool and hot tub was disappointing. The water was cloudy and looked dirty. Only 2 jets in the hot tubs were working."

"I would definitely come back. It's a small-ish hotel in the heart of the LA Live district. The lobby is modest, but the second floor outdoor patio is great. It's a good size, overlooks Figuero at Olympic (roads), has comfortable seating, and a nice long fountain. The room was tidy, the towels were soft, and the bed and chairs were comfortable."
