"The vibe here is amazing! Charming, clean and fantastic staff. The expedia site is incorrect when it says "soundproofed rooms". I stayed on the quiet side of the property and could hear everything outside of my door in the hallway. I think it's meant to say there is some noise reduction (maybe through windows) on the freeway side. The pool was always filled with families and lots of children, which is great for families, not so much for a romantic get away. I would recommend the Garland start a couple of adult only hours in the pool. There is an adult hot tub, adjacent to the kids hot tub. I was really looking forward to relaxing at the pool but the vibe was high energy all day and night both days. hey play kids movies at the pool at night. The bar next to the pool was great, and had plenty of food to order. The restaurant is great, my reservation was seated very late so we had to wait awhile but the service was nice, the ambiance is wonderful and the food was alright. Worth the vibe on the patio."

"This is such a reliable place to stay in the Los Angeles area that is just a tad outside the downtown and busier corridors. But if you're doing a day of sightseeing, you can leave this hotel early and beat the heavier Los Angeles area traffic. It's quiet, the parking garage is well lit, has security and is right next to the hotel. Advice, pay for the parking at the hotel. The bar is nice and quiet, the bar menu is simple and professional. I personally have not had their food, but it does look quite good from what I saw. Their are too many food options within walking distance of the Hotel Burbank, I recommend many, (except Wokcano), so you have a lot of good eats to choose from. I have stayed at the Hotel Burbank many times in the last 6 years and haven't had any negative experiences. It is a busy hotel with a lot of tourists, so if that's not your vibe, there are also a lot of options out there in LA. But for me, I always know it will be quieter at night at the Hotel Burbank than it would be in the downtown and Hollywood areas. This is also very close to Universal Studios and you can avoid a lot of LA traffic but staying here. It's safe, it's quiet, it's clean."
