Great value. Great room (small bathroom). Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Great attached restaurant, bar and coffee shop. Will definitely stay again. Also $18 parking was a bonus.

Staff was nice and the onsite restaurant, as well as the nearby Italian restaurant were very good. There is also a great little coffee shop next door with good coffee and breakfast options. The room was adequate, the bathroom was tiny and no counter space at all. Basic needs were fulfilled.

Best place I’ve stayed at in LA. I had a lot of things to do in town, so this hotel was conveniently located super close to everything. The staff are all so sweet and hardworking, and if there ever was a problem, they’d help. Comfortable place too. Love the coffee/bakery shop downstairs and the bar. The old Hollywood vibes are perfect.

Good value hotel with easy street parking plus a paid parking lot. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. The neighborhood felt safe to us. It’s a bit outdated but it was a good price.

We had a magnificent stay at the Hollywood Historic Hotel. The reception was excellent. Not just that, the cleaning staff were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, the historic Hollywood photos, and the hotel's design. The Edmon kitchen bar, the Sweet Corner Coffee and Cakes delicatessen made the stay unforgettable. We look forward to staying again when we visit Los Angeles in the future—the Clare family.

I love this Hotel! Very clean, nice staff and just a beautiful 1920s hotel. Loved the decor and all the photos of old Hollywood stars. We loved the restaurant/bar as well, very classy.

Front desk people were really helpful; Rooms, albeit small and a bit dated, were very comfortable and good for the price. My only request would have been the availability of water heaters either in the room or from room service upon request.

Fantastic value for money located on Melrose Avenue. Parking was just $18/night which is exceptional for the location. Room was spacious and spotless. Bathroom was compact but clean and useable. On site bar was wonderful and the food delicious and a great atmosphere. Attached coffee shop was also perfect. Staff all friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The room was decent, no bugs, mostly clean. Lobby did smell a bit funky, but no big deal as the room smelled fine. It was also quiet with gated parking.

Very clean room! Smaller than expected but the vintage charm was there so we didn’t mind. Staff was so kind, they even left a space heater for us in case it got too cold.

The stay was very clean and the staff were very nice! Parking was behind the building which had a gate, and was very safe. The shower was hard to work and it was either super hot or super cold, but the whole bathroom was super clean. Definitely would stay again since it was very close to a lot of stuff to do LA
