"$35 for breakfast was ridiculous. Also, ridiculous was the area for a tip on the breakfast bill that was self-serve buffet style. A tip is paid for service, and if I’m serving myself, adding that on top of an already ridiculous price is patently stupid."

"It was a nice room and area. We could walk to lots of restaurants. There is a decent amount of homeless population around there but we never felt unsafe. We just made sure to be in before dusk."

Comfortable bed, lovely pillows, good size room and genuine old style hospitality throughout the hotel. I felt like I had met every employee many times before.
