"We celebrated my wife's birthday with a high speed ferry trip from Muskegon to Milwaukee. We stayed at the Pfister. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We stayed on the historic side of the hotel. Rooms were beautiful, the staff most helpful, internal dining options outstanding and the amenities were top notch. Pool on the 23rd floor was a bonus. Location was perfect. Worth every penny. The experience was so nice that we stopped noticing that there were renovations going on....

We could hear a lot from our next door neighbors during the early morning hours, which was a little disruptive to our sleep. There was a strong cooking smell in the hallway, but that is to be expected since this accommodation is also home to permanent residents. "Greg and check in was phenomenal! After a long day of delayed flights and my luggage being missing, they were exceptional on check in. The room is gorgeous and clean! My service at the hotel restuarant was great as well, Shaun was an excellent server and the steak was delicious! I didn't have my luggage, but they sent me up a robe and slippers. "Great downtown and Lakeside location. Wasn't able to take advantage of that as I flew in from West Coast for a wedding at the Murray Mansion, and this hotel was perfectly situated, such that I landed at MKE at 2 pm, checked into hotel at 3:20 and got to the 4:30 pm ceremony on time! Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and no street noise."
