Lovely quiet place to stay. Hotel looked a bit on the tired side and could do with a bit of a paint. Our room had no dishwashing liquid or tea towels so we couldn't clean up the dishes we used. Having said that, I would stay there again just to go to the Chinese restaurant which was sensational.

The Golden Pebble is old and tired. Look at the carpets leading into the rooms. Black! Look like have never been treated. Had to change rooms as first room had an outside window that wouldn't close. Was asked if I really needed it closed! Won't be staying here again.

I like the Chinese restaurant there. The room is big and clean and there are ample spaces for parking. However, it is a bit inconvenient if you want to go shopping.

There are no facilities for breakfast and if you don't have a car, then the closest cafe is a 10 minute each way walk. The room was serviced once in four days. There are spider webs on the windows (no it was not Halloween) The whole hotel smelt of stale Chinese food, likely poor ventilation in the restaurant. The front entrance was littered with cigarette buts.
