We have an exclusive collection of Lakeside accommodation located beside the beautiful fresh water of Lake Taupō.

Hospitality is at the centre of everything we do. We offer quality self-contained properties and pride ourselves on providing excellent service. We work with you to create the best experience possible while you’re here in Taupō. Let us know if you would like us to collect your groceries before you arrive or organise an airport transfer – whatever it is you may require we are only too happy to help.

Reservation deposits;
25% deposit payable upon booking.
Final remaining balance is due to be paid 30 days prior to arrival.

The occupants of the home have had many years of experience offering connected holiday accommodation with many regular guests returning time after time.

Enjoy the convenience of Taupo town centre being just a ten minute drive from Stagford Retreat or with a fully self contained kitchen you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and self cater.

The two bedrooms offer 1 x King bed and 2 x King Singles that can be made up as a Super king. With beautiful linen and professionally laundered sheets you can sink into bed in the evenings knowing you are sleeping in true comfort.

Stagford Retreat can sleep up to 4 guests and there is plenty of secure off road parking space.

A 55 inch Smart TV offers all of the latest apps you may need during your getaway.

Our accomodation was perfect, providing everthing that we needed plus more, such as an outside bath. Situated out of town on a farm it was peaceful but had quick access to Taupo if desired.

We loved the property - it was a beautiful location, lovely views, really quiet and perfect to access Taupo and local attractions by a short car ride. The property was perfect for myself and my two children, we had everything we needed and we loved the decor. It was spotless and homely

The property can be be described as small but decorated and fitted out a very high quality. The quality aspect certainly is a 10 out of 10 - one of the best from a rental I have experienced - it has a 5 star hotel feel about it! It is ideal for two people - a family or two couples would likely struggle with its size - for example there are only two places to eat inside without sitting on the settee and a table and two chairs outside. The property adjoins the owners main building and the outside area is screened off by a fence on two sides, but you still get the feel of sitting in someone's garden. The above couple of negative points are mentioned to give a balanced review only. I would certainly recommend it for a couple.

Very disappointed at the property manager’s attitude when we asked to reschedule or cancel our booking 6 days out from our arrival as a result of the cyclone. The main part of our trip had been planned for Napier, which we had to cancel for obvious reasons. She was unwilling to consider any rescheduling, or refund even going as far as ringing to tell me that, which was annoying and unnecessary. Totally lacking in empathy.

My little family stayed at this property for our Taupo holiday and it was just perfect! Very new, very clean and one of the best beds I have ever slept in! Gorgeous quality decor and a kitchenette that was just right for us. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again. Oh and thank you for the chocolates on arrival!
