"David's place is immaculate. Perfect for coming to the Kona side for beaches and snorkeling. His house is spotlessly clean and all of the appliances work well with a well stocked kitchen and even some surprise kitchen items. Mahalo for the chocolates. Those were a tasty treat! The kids loved hopping out of the pool and eating lunch on the lanai. The house is up on a steep hillside that provides the beautiful views of the ocean. Our only complaint was the frogs chirping at night. The neighborhood is so lovely and quiet with real AC instead of wall units so there is nothing to drown out the noise. We had to sleep with a noise app on to cover up the frogs. We won't miss those but apparently some people love them. Thank you for a beautiful home to enjoy Hawaii with our long time friends."

"The hotel offers excellent facilities that are easy to use. It is ideally located on the main street with convenient access to a sandy beach that’s great for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. Complimentary morning coffee, poolside drinks, souvenir water bottles, a seven‑stage water filtration dispenser on every floor, and beach chairs with parasols are all thoughtful touches. The only aspect that didn’t feel fully 5‑star was the front desk service, but overall the hotel deserves a 5‑star rating."

"Great location outside the busyness of Kailua-Kona. Everything we needed for our stay and the beach gear was a plus. Meow-Meow is very vocal but is a sweet kitty. The shopping district is an easy trip away but they property feels wonderfully remote from all the hustle and bustle. Their coffee tastes great too! One note: there is a dehumidifier and it's pleasant enough at night to lower the windows and use fans but there isn't a standard air conditioner."
