"I recently stayed at Motel Adam and had a good overall experience for the price. The hotel is quite affordable, which makes it a solid option for budget travelers. The building itself is a bit older, but the room was decent and comfortable enough for a short stay. The washroom was a bit small, but still functional. The staff were friendly and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. One pleasant surprise was the breakfast, it was better than expected and offered a decent meal considering the cost. Overall, Motel Adam is a good value stay if you’re looking for something simple, affordable, and convenient."

"Hotel lobby was nice, fairly clean overall. But the pool was closed and we booked this Hotel for that reason (kids). The room temperature was over 26°C, no way to adjust, and no fans available. After 2 hot showers the smoke detector alarmed which led to management coming in, and catching my daughter and I half naked while getting dressed. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the hot steam made the room even warmer which made getting ready for a dance competition quite challenging. The coffee shop only opens at 7am, and as usual the in room coffee was nasty."

"My husband and I were really disappointed with our 2 night stay in Ottawa Embassy Hotel. The check in and out was fast and well managed. The room looked clean and vast. The first problem started when we found out that there is no AC in the room! The AC controller on the wall was not even real. We asked the customer service and they explained that the AC is unfortunately central and because we are between 2 seasons the AC is still not running! So we had to keep our room window open at all time to change the stuffy air inside the room. Problem number 2 was that the fridge was absolutely empty! Not even some water bottles!! That was very surprising for me since I thought this is the basic of all hotel rooms that have a mini fridge and free water bottles available for guests! Also there was no safe box available in the room which was also a big disappointment to us! We had to carry our valuables with us every time we were leaving the hotel! That was ridiculous! I have never been into a hotel with no safe box in the room! The bed looked nice and clean but the pillows were high and the mattress was so uncomfortable that we couldn’t even get a good rest at night! The shower was very small and my husband who is 6.1ft couldn’t take a shower without hitting his elbows to the shampoo bottles on the wall and his head to the shower head! All said we won’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The building is very old. I was happy that the elevators were running!"

"Put us in a. Room right beside a room under renovations, how thought of the hotel. If it wasn’t the on going construction it was the street noise. Terrible place, looks like a strip club and/ or casino. Staff unhelpful and rude"
