"Clean and friendly auberge in the mountains. We stayed in a classic double room. The common area was warm and cozy with plenty of space for seating and games. Nothing fancy, but the young staff all worked diligently and was always happy to assist, available for our needs, and attentive during our stay. Pros: - private jetted tub in our room - AC - free parking - free kayaks and canoes - board games and lounge area Cons: - no smart TV, the panasonic tv did not turn on - squeaky between storeys and can hear upstairs ppl - no bathroom fan, and open ceiling between bed and toilet - no clear signs to the check-in counter. Some high-visibility signs for when it gets dark would be useful."

"Far Horizons is a big, beautifully furnished and decorated, charming, well-equipped home. The view is spectacular and we had a really great time celebrating my 60th birthday! Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend! Hosts Jennifer and Greg were very easy to communicate with and their home exceeded our expectations. Thank you!"

"Beautiful view from the house, deck and hot tub! Very close to Bowman forest with some great trails (the Panorama is a lot of uphill; L'Ange is less challenging). Decent grocery store in nearby town. We bought firewood right across the road from the Richelieu. Recommend bringing your own axe for splitting, as there wasn't one there. Try the soft serve ice cream with multiple dip flavours at Dépanneur Du Village Val-Des-Bois!The cottage and grounds need some TLC, but overall a comfortable stay."

"Well equipped kitchen, plenty of indoor & outdoor games & twinkly lights outside.Beds were comfortable & the house had plenty of charm. There was a large dining room table with candles provided.Garbage disposal was convenient. Plenty of firewood was available for the hot tub & fire pit.The small lake was OK, but a bit weedy. There were lots of kayaks & a pedal boat available.Sleeping 12 would be a stretch...there were 5 bedrooms, each with one double bed. It should also be noted that the property is in a small village, although the swimming area is very private.Aside from these quibbles, we had a very enjoyable stay."
