The Twin Fin Hotel

"Liked that it is across the beach, proximity to stores, restaurants, and shopping areas. Since our flight was early and we arrived early, I understand that checking in early is a hit or miss...however, we didn't get checked in until it is 5 minutes to 4 pm. We arrived Waikiki at 10 am...yes, we were able to leave our luggages, walked around, ate lunch, and kill a lot of time, I called before we went back to the hotel, but was told we can try but not guaranteed, since my Mom and I are dead tired coming from CA and waking up at 3 am to catch our 7 am flight, we were praying and hoping that they'd let us check in at least by 2 pm, We got there, and was told the room is not ready and is guaranteed 4 pm check in. Why are guests required to check out at 11 am, and yet the rooms are not ready until 4 pm? And it does not help when the receptionist does not show any empathy (sincere or not) to dead-tired guests like ours. Don't put unfriendly employees in the lobby that checks in guests."

"I loved my stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. It’s in a nice quiet location outside of Waikiki. Plenty of places still within walking distance. The on-site restaurant is also amazing!"

"Honestly, this hotel is in a great location. We paid extra to have poolside which I thought would be really fun for the kids however, the sliding glass door was almost impossible to open and close not to mention guest from the hotel would sit in our lounge chairs that clearly said that they were reserved for our room or they would leave their stuff on our table out on our front lanai area. The room is also a lot smaller than what it appears on the photos but overall based off of the location I still gave this four stars and we would definitely come back. The kids loved going to the zoo across the street. That was a huge plus!"

"My 3rd time staying at Kaimana Beach Hotel. I had some issues on my door as it wouldn’t lock all the way, I have to push it hard it order for it to lock. TVs should be upgraded to smart TVs. Overall I still love this hotel as it’s beachfront and I really enjoyed and loved my early morning swims"

"We absolutely loved our stay! The property was beautiful and in the perfect location—close enough to Waikīkī to easily enjoy everything it has to offer, but far enough away to escape the traffic and crowds. The views were absolutely breathtaking, with both the ocean and Diamond Head Crater right outside our windows. Our host truly thought of everything. The property was incredibly well equipped, and it felt like every little detail had been considered to make our stay comfortable and easy. We had everything we could possibly need and felt right at home from the moment we arrived.This was such a special place to stay during our trip to Oʻahu, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"From the moment I booked this property I knew it was the absolute right choice. With all the pre arrival messages to the host and their extremely rapid responses to the smooth check-in, i would have to recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the diamond head area. Parking was a little difficult at times, but if you don't want to walk a short distance there is a ton of meter paid parking available. The room is small, but we were only there to sleep, shower and eat so it was plenty spacious for our needs. We even got to meet the owner of the property as we checked out and he was such a pleasant person to chat with. When we return it has already been determined that I will rent this property again. Rating 10 out of 10!!.."
