The Black Horse Inn

"We had a lovely stay at The Black Horse Hotel. There is plenty of parking. We had a family room which was very clean and an ample size. All the linen was crisp and clean and the towels were lovely, soft and fluffy. Shower gel and hand soap suppled. TV. Hairdryer. Iron and ironing board, also an umbrella if needed. Coffee making facilities was well stocked. Check-in was swift and helpful. The Black Horse Inn was very popular. The food was lovely and had a specials board. The staff were attentive. They had a very good selection of wine, beers, lagers, ales and ciders. Breakfast was extensive, with everything you could want to eat. We were very pleasantly surprised by this gem of place and would definitely recommend and stay again."

"A very old building but clean and the staff were very helpful. I had a fall while staying (not in the hotel) and Sandra on reception was very concerned and assisted with ice for my bruises and also fetched my bags down on our departure date. Would go there again but request a slightly bigger room. Ours was a little small for two adults trying to get ready to go out!"
