"Great hotel, love the garden. AC was very useful during heatwave. Only complaint is no control over the AC in the room. And it turns on and off in the night and is quite loud. If it was consistently loud it'd be fine. But because its controlled by the hotel staff, the turning on and off wakes you up. Dont let that turn you off the hotel though. Good choice"

"It’s a bit of a mixed bag, the hotel has such a great setting on the lakeside and was great for a meal and drink in the sunshine. Inside however the rooms are clean but very tired and dated. We booked a Bridal room which had a four poster bed that was very small and made some very loud noises if you moved or turned over while sleeping, not particularly romantic. The decor is dated and the bathroom was well past its best. We had a meal on the terrace which was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very busy with orders for hot food taken at the table however on the second day no one came to ask if we wanted anything from the cooked menu so I had toast. Given the price it’s decent value for money and we would book again but with a proper bed."
