"Room seemed liked it was recently refurbished, so was in good condition, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Not all areas of the hotel were in such a good condition. Our dinner in the Bar and Grill was not a good experience, with no vegan options, poor quality food, mistakes with our order, and such a long wait for our food that we were offered a free round of drinks from the bar, I wouldn't eat there again if I lived locally! There wasn't enough floor staff on duty for a very busy Saturday evening. The breakfast was fine though. Overall an ok stay, but Village Hotels would not be on my list of hotels to visit again"

"Very close to the beach, excellent food and we particularly liked the champagne bar. Staff were great too. "

"Pros: Parking and location. Cons: Rooms and corridors need renovation. Heating was terrible with draft coming from "Off" AC, and radiator in adequate. Hairs and generally dirty bathroom, hadn't been cleaned. Really cheap toilet paper - had to fold about 6 time to stop it disintegrating! "

"Me and my partner stayed in the suite for the night and were very pleased. The only thing we were asking was, if there was any cold beverages in the room for example if there would be some cold drinks such as cold water provided or cold refreshing fizzy drinks. Other than that we were very pleased with the condition and how cozy the stay was "

"The room was cosy and the staff made two swans and put petals around the bed. So kind and it was lovely the spa. I have used the gym and spa many times as a member until I moved. First time staying though and loved it we did."

"Free parking, clean room, great staff. Stayed here with my dog, no issues. There’s a few patches of grass outside for him to stretch his legs and do his business. Can’t beat this place for what it is: convenient, budget accommodation done well. Unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits candle in reception, alongside sweets, lollipops and dog treats. A great little stay!"
