"We stayed at the property for 3 weeks and probably could have stayed 3 months if real life didn’t get in the way. The property is well equipped with a lovely kitchen, living room, and bathroom downstairs. We cooked in some evening and never had a problem. The upstairs has 3 bright bedrooms and 2 full baths. "This is a unique property spread over several acres of vineyards. There are multiple units to choose from & we stayed in the cottage. This was a lovely independent stone cottage overlooking the sea with a loft bedroom, kitchen and living room. It was a very special stay during our time on Madeira & we can’t recommend it enough. "Apartment superficially seems nice. Good kitchen - grill available. However: Definately not 200SQm. Upper bathroom smelly all the time because of drain, Sink could not be used because water was not flowing down. Porch: 10-20 flies at all times outside (still standing water in drain directly next to porch) - could not relax outside. Cushions were missing, after I asked they were in the sleeping room. Bathroom (downstairs): one of the windows could not be closed. Kitchen: Ants are welcomed guests...

"We enjoyed our stay at Rochinha House. Had everything we needed. Weather was cooler when we were there so we weren’t able to use the pool but we did appreciated the portable heaters that were available. Carolina is a wonderful host and provided direction as far as sight seeing, restaurants, etc. Check-in was clear and easy. Would absolutely stay here when we return to Portugal! "
