"Our staying was not perfect but very reasonably good. Hotel is a "bit" outdated but location is good with perfect nature exposure. The room was huge with ocean view. The staff is excellent, patient, polite and very helpful. The dinner was slightly below expectation, and we opted to taste it only once."

"We had a fantastic stay with Maria. The rustic property was in a cute, quiet, and private location with an amazing view of the ocean. Easy parking was available below the church, which was a 5-minute walk away from the property. The garden and view were highlights of the property that we will always remember. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place to anyone wanting to visit Madeira."

"We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Prazeres. Our host, Catia, was lovely, responsive and so helpful. All her recommendations were top notch! The location was also superb and close to a wonderful local coffee shop, restaurants and beautiful views. The house is so comfortable and clean. The pool was also a nice addition to our stay. We can't wait to return."

"I have mixed feelings about our stay at Joao's place. We were a bit disappointed to find the state of the place; we emailed the landlord but he did not respond until Vrbo contacted him. Positive: - location: the view over the ocean is spectacular! - silence: it is a quiet area, only residential. aside from a couple of dogs once in a while, there is no outside noise - sleep quality: the (hard) mattresses worked a charm and we slept really well - good fun with the table tennis in the common...

"Miguel hat uns sehr nett persönlich empfangen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Sehr gepflegt, alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Der Meerblick ist fantastisch und die Lage ist sehr gut um Ausflüge zu machen oder zu wandern. In wenigen Minuten ist man in Calheta am Meer, hier gibts alles Strand, Restaurants und einen guten Supermarkt. Leider gab es in unmittelbarer Nähe eine größere Baustelle, die man nicht sieht, aber hört. Trotzdem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen."

"We stayed for 5 night, the property is in a lovely quiet area with street parking available, I would definitely recommend renting a car. The owner and his son were quick with communication and very helpful. The property is a lovely older building with plenty of character, clean and everything was in working order. There is wifi in the common area which works well and the view from the rooms is fantastic. "

"Our family choose this rental for its high rating and beautiful views. We felt safe in this home. Our meeting with the agent was off putting since he was worried we were "party people" from the USA. I assured him we would take care of the home as it were our own. The views were in fact beautiful but could only be seen on the outside if standing or on the second floor. You could not keep the windows open for fresh air without the shutters, therefore, there wasn't much of a view. The home did come...

"Great place to watch the sunset from a shared deck while having dinner. Double check if the jacuzzi is in working condition, it was off due to covid measures during my stay. wifi was not available as described, however there was signal for vodafone data. The host sends you GPS coordinates to find the location in a welcome message. If you are driving uphill to reach what looks like a shed at the GPS cooridnates, walk back downhill a few meters to find stairs going down towards the house."
