"This apartment had the most surreal views! It was lovely and clean and comfortable as well. It’s a shared space but you have your own room and bathroom and the other guests were nice and didn’t disturb us at all. But the reason we rate this place so highly is because of the incredible host, Ludgero. We got in an unfortunate accident on our first day (please drive carefully on the roads) and our host offered to pick us up from the hospital and checked in with us the next day. "Really loved this stay in Madeira! It seems like the hotel is newly built and because of that it comes with good amenities. Staff were super helpful with our room and we were able to take advantage of the gym and pool! Definitely a nice place to relax at after doing all the Hikes!"

"Reid’s is a beautiful property with multiple pools and diving access to the ocean. Our stay involved changing rooms ( not the hotels fault), and not all rooms are the same. The first room had a walk in shower but the second room had a very slippery tub shower. There was construction going on during our stay that made for noisy afternoons. The food was really good and there are multiple restaurants, however, I would reserve a table in advance of your stay to guarantee your spot at dinner. The service was exceptional."
