Relaxing stay in cottage

Great property to get away and properly relax. Little shop at top of steep hill was perfect to get essentials to make your own or have drinks by the cottage. Drinks/ food limited otherwise by pool and need to be requested at reception. The adjoining restaurant was fantastic so highly recommend booking. There was wine tasting available on certain days but didn’t suit or travel plans. Their Madeira wine was delicious. Great location to branch out to different areas around this side of island.

A quaint historical farmhouse type property situated in a vineyard, with great views of the sea. Recommended friendly restaurant and breakfast, offering top quality local produce. Car is essential for exploration of area, especially the amazing levada and mountain walks. Easily accessible on the main road, (except a slightly tricky steep entrance, that is not too obvious) A unique and relaxing stay in village setting away from the tourist bustle of Madeira.

Idyllisk oplevelse

Idyllisk lille vingård med de fineste hytter til gæster. Vi nød 2 overnatninger i en hytte med den fineste udsigt til vinmarker og havde en dejlig oplevelse på stedets restaurant den ene aften i smuk solnedgang - husk at reserver bord med det samme. Stedet er lidt rustikt hvilket matchede omgivelserne perfekt.

Hier hat wirklich alles gepasst. Geschmackvolle Appartments mit viel Privatsphäre, tolle Anlage mit schönem Poolbereich und Meerblick. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet im wunderschönen Garten. Auch der Restaurantbereich ist traumhaft gelegen und man genießt beim Abendessen den Meerblick inmitten der Weinberge.

Op een prachtige, meer dan 300 jaar oude wijnboerderij is alles heel smaakvol en stijlvol vormgegeven. Met een geweldig uitzicht en een uitstekend restaurant!

Une très belle propriété... pas toujours calme

Nous ne sommes restés qu'une seule nuit à la Quinta das Vinhas. La propriété est superbe, l'emplacement avec un panorama à couper le souffle et le séjour tout confort (literie, piscines, transats...) Excellent petit déjeuner. Deux bémols : le manque de personnel pour s'occuper des convives. Par exemple, le dîner au restaurant était sans fin. Autre bémol, nous aurions apprécié d'être au calme pendant la matinée pour récupérer de notre randonnée de la veillle et profiter de la tranquillité du site. Hélas, l'entreprise d'entretien des espaces verts était aussi de passage cette matinée, avec tondeuse, débrousailleuse et autres machines bruyantes... nous avons fuit le bruit!

La quinta das Vinhas est une demeure agricole du 17ème siècle propriété viticole sur les hauteurs de Calheta La vue est splendide sur les vignes et l’océan en contre bas Deux jolies piscines pour le repos et un bon restaurant pour dîner sur place Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré

Wunderschöne, romantische Lage mit Meersicht !!!

Die Quinta liegt wunderschön in den Rebbergen mit einmaliger Sicht auf das Meer. Romantisches Morgenessen und Abendessen im Garten , oder auf der eigenen Terasse beim sehr grosszügigen Steincottage. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen !!
