"The apartment was in a very central location, only a few moments away from the main shopping mall in Funchal, and coffee shop almost on the doorstep. There was a kitchenette, washing machine and ironing board provided, and all useful utensils provided (even sachets of oil for using the frying pan). Check in was simple with the use of door codes. "Fabulous hotel stay. Large room with very comfortable beds, house keeping excellent, breakfast very good with excellent hot and cold food choices. Amazing pool with various sunbathing areas and sufficient loungers. Good snack bar for lunches and drinks by pool. Good indoor pool with sauna and steam room. Walkable into old town, with supermarket, and good bars and restaurants in local vicinity."

"This resort is in an excellent location for tourists. Half way between the airport and the major city of Funchal. The views are stunning. The staff friendly and very pleasant. The food choices were vast and delicious. We signed up for the all inclusive and it was well worth it. Lots of great excursions, hikes, adventures, dining and shopping."

"We stayed at Se' Boutique for eight nights and were very pleased with our choice. It's perfectly located immediately behind the Cathedral in central Funchal. Everything is a convenient walking distance, including a large number of wonderful restaurants. The breakfast was a full English breakfast, including more breads and pastries than I could count. They had delicious flan most days, eggs, bacon, cereals, etc. We looked forward to it each morning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We hope to return to Madeira and will definitely stay at Se' Boutique."

"Location is just about perfect, right in the centre of historical Funchal, a few minutes from the cathedral and ten minutes from the cable car up to Monte. Nice, spacious room, even had proper studio kitchen facilities and gear to go with it. Good view from the roof top, and great breakfast offering. Very helpful staff, even provided recommendations on dealing with a flu that was starting to make its presence known. And we were allowed to utilise the spa in the afternoon after checking out on the day of departure."
