"The staff were very welcoming and attentive, we even got a small welcome and leaving gift. The hotel is set in lovely maintained grounds. The outside breakfast area and view to Funchal centre is brilliant. The location is excellent close enough to walk to the promenade and main food and shopping areas. It was great to have access to the parking, but make sure you book this in advance as space is limited and not any other options. Breakfast is brought to your table and the staff are very attentive. Our room was a double which was spacious and had access to a fridge, kettle and microwave. We would definitely book this hotel again if returning to Funchal."
