"Enjoyed my time at this hotel. The view of the ocean is stunning and the 24 hour service at the gym appreciated. The executive lounge staff were very personable and attentive. Enjoyed the Nespresso machine at the lounge. It would be nice to have longer hours at the outdoor pool. They’re currently 10 am - 6 pm. At the front desk, Tank the concierge was super helpful. My room on floor 12 was nice but it felt dark in the evening."

"The room was large (Junior suite) It is centrally located and 10 minutes from the train station. Breakfast was not as good as the Sheraton Hotel we stayed 4 nights previously in Shantou. However it is still excellent. We did not have time to use the indoor swimming pool because there are so much to see and to explore in this big City of 17 million. Staff are helpful but lack of English speaking skill."

"The location was convenient and check in process was prettt seamless. Our room, as usual with the Hyatt, was large, comfortable and had everything we need. We were particularly impressed with the toilet! We paid extra for the Hyatt Club and had mixed experiences. The afternoon tea was extremely disappointing, as there were barely any food choices and when they ran out, they were not replenished. When we asked the staff, they became confused about the time and said that it would not be refilled. We also asked for some tea and this was somehow forgotten about and we had to re order. We thought that this might only be for one day, however it was consistent on both days. Barely any food choice and what was provided was sub standard. By contrast, the evening cocktails and food were fantastic. Plenty of choice and options which were very tasty and varied. The pool was heated which was very nice, however we were all made to wear hats which we have not experienced before. Check out process was pretty straightforward. The breakfast restaurant was fantastic and had a lot of variety as you would expect with Hyatt."
