"Great room with superb sea view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Limited breakfast facilities and choice. Awkward access and egress routes, especially for disabled or elderly , but no offer or assistance with porterage. Great central location. "

"The room had been upgraded however the walls were marked, hole in the wall, no hot water in the shower, carpet was stained. Breakfast was delicious, all staff were really welcoming, friendly. "

"The hotel is lovely and I would recommend staying there, breakfast had everything you need. However we were shocked to find that the swimming pool and golf had additional costs and when going down for food Sunday evening the only thing available was Sunday lunch. These things should be made clear. "

"Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was beautiful, clean and well supplied with coffee tea etc. We used to stay at the Penventon regularly 20 years ago and the standard has not slipped one bit. The reason for our visit was to meet with a lost member of family and she lived local to the Penventon Hotel so it worked out perfectly for us."
